George W. Meyers, Cincinnati businessman, died Dec. 1, 2020, from complications due to cancer. Mr. Meyers was president and CEO of Fox Reusch, Inc., a family, financial company that spanned more than five generations.
Mr. Meyers attended high school at both Walnut Hills and Cincinnati Country Day School. He was a graduate of Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Cincinnati Law School. He was a life-long member of Isaac M. Wise Temple.
He was also a former member of the Kenton County Airport Board, a Benefactor Member of the Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and a member of the Prime Minister’s Club of Israel Bonds.
Mr. Meyers is survived by his wife, Marianne Meyers; children Greg and Julie Meyers, Brian Meyers, Doug and Sandy Meyers, and Melissa and Marc Schapiro; grandchildren Joanie and Moshe Salfer, Benjamin, Josh, Ellie Meyers, Alayna Meyers, and Maddie and Remy Meyers; and one great-granddaughter Golda Gittel Salfer.
Private graveside services were held Dec. 3 at Spring Grove Cemetery.
