Friday Night Shabbat (FNS) has a full schedule of exciting community dinners for young families in 2023. Since its inception in October 2022, the new initiative has organized eight successful dinners in conjunction with its partner organizations in Cincinnati’s Jewish community including one with more than one hundred and seventy people.

The first dinner in 2023 will take place at Northern Hills Synagogue (NHS) on January 13. Their large indoor playground will be open and is adjacent to the dining room.  On January 20, Adath Israel Synagogue will continue its Family Friday dinner series. They will begin with playtime and snacks and a short children’s service, followed by dinner. Families can join in at any time. Friday Night Shabbat invites you to experience a lively and fun Shabbat dinner. Meet young families in our community and spend shabbat with friends.  Experience Cincinnati’s Jewish institutions in a ‘no pressure’ environment.  All dinners are completely free of charge.  Reservations are encouraged, but walk-ins will always be welcome. Bring your friends.

Check out the website for the full schedule through May 2023. A few more dinners will be added throughout the year.

Participating partners include Northern Hills Synagogue, Adath Israel Synagogue, Rockdale Temple, ish, Isaac M. Wise Temple, Rockwern Academy, Café Alma and The Mayerson JCC. FNS always welcomes additional partnerships.

Friday Night Shabbat wishes everyone a happy and healthy new year. For further information and to make a reservation, the website.
